I found a very interesting article in a magazine last month called "What would you have done". A journalist interviewed certain people including: A Jewish man who was able to save only 10 children from the Lodz Ghetto. He talked about who he chose to save and why and how bably it affected him leaving some children in the knolage that they would die. A Russian SMERSH Officer who tourtured and killed German Prisoners and says that she is still proud of it. A British intel Officer who had to lie about the fate of Croats handed to Tito's partisans. Several more stories were included. Was very interesting.
And that sums up why we should have forums like this, to thank and remember the people who made sure that we would never have to make decisions liek that. Just found the magazine: BBC History Magazine - Vol. 8 No. 10 I'll try to scan in the articles for you all.

Kai & Stefan... (excellent source of feedback) In doing some further research on experimentation within the camps... I found myself reaching for my barf bag. Morbid is the vocab word that comes to mind. I knew this was practiced throughout the camps, but nothing to the extent of the exact experiments... PzJgr had submitted a thread earlier this morning in reference to Nazi experimentation and the results that arose from their findings. Because of my curiosity, I find myself reflecting more and more on what the Jews, Poles, Romas (Gypsies) and Russians suffered, and what the fortunate few endured to survive. Slon.... my sentiments as well - Animals are so much better then us humans! Mark
Mark, inspite of your reaching for your barf bag, here is a link to the "Doctor's Trial" which explores the trials, exhibits, convictions, and punishments. I won't use the word "enjoy": Online Exhibitions | The Doctors Trial It is a bit lengthy, but worth the time.
