    Greetings...
Its been a while since my lost post, but i still try and read the topics everyday. I am a man of few words. However, i have just joined this Play-By-E-Mail game called 1935. Very simple (compared to some games) and very interesting. Its 1938 right now, and a few small crisis's might lead to global war. German and Polish tensions rise, as do tensions between the USA and the Islamic world. The Balkans are struck by internal war (i belive) and some Bulgarians went 'missing' in Greece. The game as a whole looks pretty interesting, economy factors into it too, and Diplomacy is very interesting - lots of discussion about everything. and then theres poor old me, Norway, trying to make do with the bigger european countries. anyways - if you want to find out more etc contact me. Hey
Its only through email. Erm - you dont need to download anything and orders (having seen the example turn sheet) are some of the simplist i have ever seen. You basically have 5 actions a turn/round - certain things take more then 1 action, but things like existing trade dont cost a thing. Military orders are not seen as an action -you can give as many as like per turn/round. Diplomacy is obviously a main thing, and determines who is with who, who is weak, who is strong, and other such things. A weak politican results in a weak country, as the fear factor doesnt, well, factor in. I am also looking to join a game called Imperial Dreams - for 8 players - set in the mid 1880s - 1920.

Yes. I do believe there is a limit. There is the USA, Islamic Alliance, Japan, England, USSR, Germany, France, Norway, Finland, Sweden etc....i think that all the European Nations of the time plus Japan/USA are the ones that are playable. there is a Yahoo!Group but half the people dont post on it.

Thats the one thing i dont like about the game. England and USSR and USA really arent powerful. They dont express their views on various situations and the like. In that sense those alliances are weak. Same with the League of nations. But i dont think this is going to be a truly historical game. Still fun nonetheless. Currently, i am making airplanes for Germany and Subs for Japan. How about that? And i am only Norway.
