Garand and kar98 - always more satisfying killing an enemy with a rifle rather than an MG.

Since it is the only WWII game I have ever played, and you don't get to chosse weapons to use, my favorite "gun" is the Tiger Tanks in Talonsofts: Eastern Front.

Yeah, even I have "Call of Duty" and "Medal of Honor" games. Albeit, mine are PS2 games and I would bet you all are talking about PC games aren't you? I like the BAR in the field but, the Thompson has my vote for cyclic rate and firepower. The STG 44 is fun but it seems a bit slow on putting out rounds. If we're talking about PS2 here I might add that I like "Heroes of the Pacific" (fighter pilot game) and "Ace Combat Five" and "Ace Combat Zero." I haven't played these games in several months. When I do play them I go on a week or so and then put them down for another few months. I always used to think I'd never get a video game but, now I'd even like to have one of those new PS3's. Does anyone play any of those flying games?

I have Ace Combat 4, but I've never heard of Heros of the Pacific. Can you tell me a little more about it?

Its a really fun game. You get to fly all kinds of Allied and Axis planes in the PTO.

I have IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 for the PC. Most comprehensive flight sim out there! I havent played it at all, cant even take off! I plan, this summer, to learn how to fly it though! Graphics are amazing and the 1946 game includes, PTO and Eastern Front. They're making a Battle of Britain game too. Google IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 to see what i mean!

I had plenty of trouble learning to fly in Heroes of the Pacific, as well. I went to that google site and got knocked offline twice. Plenty of pop-ups there. I'm sure the realism is far better than PS2 though, but, being a PC game is just a bit too advanced for me...

I just love unleashing with the mp40 and panzerfaust in Call of Duty: United Offensive. A deadly duo.

I don't like the M1 garand in games. i always seem to have an odd number of bullets in my inventory. With the bolt-action weapons, the amount of bullets I have is always even.

I tend to use the Garand as a sniper, I know its not very clever, but I usually shoot 2-3 bullets per person. I try to get at least close to 1-2 in the chest area.. and then the head.

In Call of Duty 3, I never seem to miss with the Lee-enfield. Either I'm very good, or the bullets home in.

    Silenced Sten in COD.
I would have said the "Chicago Typwriter" (from mobster days)(Thomson w/drum), but it kicks to much (in the game)(& doesn't have drum), in real life it's said that you could write your name with it.
