If anyone has a serious interest in this topic, the whole area is covered in the most recent biography of Eva Braun, 'The Lost Life Of Eva Braun' by Angela Lambert ( Century, London, 2006 ). The author uses numerous sources including relatives of Braun, family letters, etc. It really seems clear that the wilder stories concerning Hitler's sexuality were figments of propaganda. It's almost certain that he had a sexual affair with his niece Geli Raubal which led to her suicide, and Eva Braun fitted the Hitler-ideal of acquiescent womanhood. He certainly never wished to procreate and made this clear to his inner circle ; this was most likely due to his awareness of insanity in his Mother's family. And yes, he did indeed have only one ball.....
I read somewhere that on the Night of 1000 knives, Hitler had all of his homosexual lovers killed so there would be no one to tell of his exploits! That said, I too have to run to the bathroom Slon!
How about digging on some Allied top commanders on the other hand? Sure you can find some evidence on them as well...but as long as we are talking about their buzinez in warfare I don“t really mind about other things. If the church cannot stop their people from doing it....
You would think after over 60 years an accurate historical account of Hitler would exsist. It does in part, but the anti-Hitler, anti-German sentiment is so strong that any kind of nonsense can be written and accepted. I've been collecting books, etc for over 40 years and I have every major work on Hitler ever published, or at least most of them. So much nonsense, unproven comments, etc just distort the real history. John Toland's book should be the standard reference.
I agree that Toland's book was early in the field ( along with Bullock ) but thought that Kershaw's two volumes are now widely regarded as the most up-to-date available ?
