I had the impression that nobody would find the answer without a hint. I'm very astonished this is completely unknown.

    Your turn.

Name two events the Blackburn Skua is noted for and if you want some beach front property in Flordia, name a unique feature about the Skua's fuselage. [IMG]

This is indeed a weapons question, but who cares...

It gained the distinction of being the first British aircraft to shoot down a German aircraft in World War Two (a Dornier Do Flying boat on 26th September 1939) and also being the first aircraft to sink a major warship in wartime when Skuas sank the cruiser Königsberg in Bergen harbour on 10th April 1940.

Special about its fuselage... the "V" arrestor hook frame?!

Thought the bonus answer would've been the 'tail parachutes' but that is'nt the fuselage. What about flying cover over Dunkirk? That's the only event I knew .

I thought my question would last longer than 34 mins. !!! I guess I will have to ask Polish questions like you if I want to stay on longer.
The bonus answer I was thinking of is that the fuselage was water tight and would float even if the cockpit was flooded. No beach properity for you this time.

Not bad, Framert. [IMG] Your turn.

The other would be English ambassador Henderson.

    They never saw action?

They were due to go on Operation Varsity but due to a lack of transport planes they went into Corps reserve and the war ended before they saw combat.

Thanks for the web site on the British aircraft Knight.
I was looking at their picture of the Martin-Baker MB-5 and it looks very much like a P-51D at the angle they took the picture.

    Ok...

If you swap 2 letters in the German title of this famous German song, you get its international title. Which song?
