The FOV Tiger has metal tracks, turret, gun plus other details ie tools, cables and engine. The engine alone weights more than the Dragon 1/35 Tiger....;)

You would think with a price of between £280.00 /330.00 the FOV Tiger would be all metal ;)

Maybe so but there is more than enough metal and as Martin said, the engine alone is heavier than most 1/35 tanks...
I am planning to buy an Armortek 1/6 Tiger I , can do serious damage with its weight but i still think that the 1/16 FOV Tiger I has more than enough weight , after all, it is just a display model ;)

How can you compare £45.00 1/35 tank to a £280.00 1/16 tank
I think the FOV 1/16 Tiger tank is very , but not at £280.00 ;)
You can pick up a 1/16 remote control Tiger for £140.00 with just as much metal ;)

It's all a matter of individual choice and what you're happy with. I'd be really happy with the all-plastic 1/35 Dragon.....

    ...at £25.00.....;)

I have a R/C 1/16 Tiger and i can tell you that they are nowhere close to the FOV 1/16 Tiger, besides you have to buy a lot of extra metal parts and there is no metal turret so far, no detailed engine and the quality of the tracks, paintjob, detail is beyond any discussion !
Post a pic or give me a link of that 1/16 R/C Tiger and i will buy it but there is no such thing, my dear friend, it is all on the net !
I also have a Tamiya 1/16 early Tiger, great detail and it costs as much as a FOV 1/16 Tiger and when you buy all extra metal parts ( tracks, roadwheels, mudguards, hatches, main gun, mg etc ) it still comes nowhere close to this Tiger and you will "spend " a lot of money, trust me :D
