Can anyone tell me what these signs say? I was uploading some more graphics to the Web Gallery and I had these two left over. There used to be a text file with a translation somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. I wouldn't mind adding a little Russian flare to our collection.

Thanks Amrit. Doesn't seem to be a very helpful thing for a discussion forum does it? Any one have a lead on the other one?

I think it probably implies "old news" or "old hat" etc. I've tried the other one, using a Russian alphabet but it just comes out as gibberish.

The reason the word comes out as gebberish is because it does not exist in the Russian language, unless it is some sort of slang or maybe an abbreviation. However the second word on the first sign means " not allowed " or " Prohibited."

Amrit got the second sign exactly right.

    Thanks guys.

I've had these so long I can't even remember where I got them from or what they mean. They are of no use in the web gallery I guess.
