    First I've seen of this, but it makes me wince a bit.....

    These 'almost life-size replicas' can be lethal ; a few years back someone built a 3/4 scale Spitfire powered by a Jaguar V-12 engine - and lost his life flying it.....:(

    I would rather put it on display in the garden but there is a risk. :(

    There is a man in Ohio who builds P-51 mustang replicas. There are scaled down a bit but I have seen 7 come out of his workshop. Don't know details. Now build me a JU52 replica and you have caught my attention.
