Whats that temperature in Degrees Fahrenheit?

If you want hot, just move to Hottatexas or Georgia. We two states seem to get the worst of it--with humidity of course. Now, Arizona gets pretty darn hot--with almost no humidity-so one does not feel it--like we do here.

They have a saying here for Corpus Christi. Most of the time we have what you call: "Weather you can wear." Which really sucks.

Thank you. Well, were not far below that number--normally were at 95 to 98 all July, then in Aug it gets to between 99 and 105 daily. Sept cools back to about 95, Oct we might cool off to about 90.

Europe is having a totally bizarre 'Summer' - the British Isles and Northern France have had continuous heavy rain ( and I mean day after day after day of it....:( ) with, in the UK, widespread flooding and major property damage ; while the Med and Eastern Europe have a colossal heatwave with associated forest fires, older people dying etc. Greece has been up to 45degC ( 113 deg F ) while Hungary has seen temperatures of 48degC ( 118degF ).

Climate change is back on the Political agenda......

About the same here......and humid. It has been getting down to around 60 at night so I can open some windows and give the A/C a rest.

well it has been 107F here twice in July but rather mild with thunderstorms and wind in extremes at times. August will be frickin gross up to 115F for a day or two and maybe beyond. our record in August has been 121F, watched the candles in the house melt before our eyes and NO A/C

39 degrees while I was on a holiday in Crete, but only 24 degrees here in Central France and sometimes raining too, not as much as in England, but I don't have to water the flowers that's for sure. My tomatoes are still green...

Today we have been getting some good downpours. SO far today, we have had about 5 inches of rain--more expected tonight, tomorrow, Sat & Sunday. This July has been one for the record books. In a 24 hr period, we had 21 inches of rain here in Corpus Christi--about 10 or so days ago. Counting all the rains since then, we have had at least 30 inches of rain in July alone.

Quite strange, over here in Portugal we're having the mildest summer ever. Temperatures are in the higher 20s (Celsius), half cloudy days, occasional showers (it NEVER rains in July), I haven't had an occasion to turn the air conditioning on at home, no forest fires, the fire bombers which start flying in earnest in May haven't taken off except for patrolling and practice flights. Very unusual, but we don't mind at all, quite the opposite.

Yea, right C. Evans. Arizona does have humidity from about mid July to late September. Yesterday it was 105 (39 C) and 60%..... The worst part was I was shovelling 5 tons of gravel onto a yard for most of the day (flipping a condo for someone).

I visited Phoenix & the GC area in April one year. My nose bled a bit the whole time I was there. I wasn't accustomed to the dryness of the air, I guess. It was different to be able to step out of the a/c and not feel like I had been punched in the face by 102 degree heat. Arizona is a nice place to visit but I like green surroundings.

Not sure what part of Arizona your talking about but, when we visited some relatives, the report we saw on the evening news said that the days humidity was at 6%. I remember it because it was the same when we visited Victorville, Calif; (Roy Rogers Museum) etc. a few days later. I do recall that San Francisco and Los Angeles both were fairly humid-but I still could not feel it. I'm in an area where the humidity factor rarely falls below 90 God-awful percent!

Im so used to high humidity that I can't even feel it in the air unless its over 70%. :snoopy:
