It's 1765 and I am two Provences away from a World Domination victory-all thanks to Spain!
I allied with Portugal (Since they have a Provence in India), so when Spain attacked them I declared war on Spain. Not much happened until I had defeated the Mughal empire and Persia, then Spain took Lisbon and destroyed the Portuguese. Their Indian Provence turned rebel so I took it.

Then I started eyeing up Spain's (always) weakly defended colonies in America...after taking the Caribbean and Mexico I spread down into South America. Then the Cherokee nations scuppered my plan by taking Florida from the Spanish, I wanted it so I invaded and took it, the screenshots above a from my strike into Georgia.

Whilst this was happening, I took all (yes, all) of the Iberian peninsula (Spain & Portugal), Morocco, Sardinia and Italy.

So, an extremely alternate history there...and a successful game!


Oh yeah, I had a revolution. Thats why there is a different flag.

 

I still think 4 is far better. I scored a British Aircraft carrier leaving a port through a tight gap near India on my second voyage, an escort carrier I believe it was. It took almost 8 torpedo's and then finally when it actually sunk it rolled over in a few seconds and was gone even faster, the fastest sink of a carrier I had every heard of. lol

I think it was you Richard that metioned that the ships sink way to fast in these games. But they are still good to play.

 

Try SH3 with GWX3.0 Gold and tell me its easy!

SH4 is out of the box and to easy with to many things wrong with it, there are a couple of mods that correct this but I am holding out for the big super mod which will correct of these errors. SH3 was the same but now with GWX far more realistic, yes SH4 dose look better that's because there is two years that separate the games.

I got the U-Boat add on for SH4 and was shocked that the Germans sounded like Americans! Picked up a sound mod which sorted that out.

yeh that was a good game.

 

I had a crack at changing the picture in the SH3/GWX 3.0 Gold loading screen, not bad for my first one. Thats my U-Boat in the background docked with a supply U-Boat.

 

My first new U-Boat skin for a while. Looks a bit strange but I like it, IXB U-Boat.

I was using a nebelwerfer and after one strike the wood ended up in the back and got stuck.




They just kept coming, no problem for the 88 though.

 

I like the graveyard of armor there, thanks to that '88 I am sure.

 

Yeah, the 88 did most of the killing there. I had a captured at piece for a while, and I went through a couple of the smaller anti-inf guns the Panzer Elite get as you can see on the right. The 88 ruled the day though.

 

Good thing you weren't playing Annihilation mode - looks like he had a lot more ground covered than you.

Well it was me VS to hard computers. It was all I could do to hang on for the win with 3 victory points.

What are the mod Muso? The one campaign I played was as Prussia and I ran the place.
