On threads such as these 'name it' style quizzes it is usual to change the name of any pictures that you post. Thereby removing the very description that we are trying to determine. People cheat you know. I don't know what you guys do, try 'save as' and then choose a nondescript identifing moniker.

Oh, I see. I just copied the url from the google picture result. I didn't "save" it to my pc. I'll have to remember that for next time though, thanks.

Good on you Tom, fine use of initiative ;).
Contentious indeed, Comet chassis modified (heavily) to do what the S-Tank now does. She still survives in Bovington's back collection & I hope to see her one day.

    Over to you mate.

Just to put a line under this one before Tom hits us with another. The only other picture of Contentious that I have seen. From a nice little book purchased at Beltring.

What's wrong with this picture, (and a good reason not to trust what you find on the internet)

Wrong on 2 levels Skunk, good find.
Neither a Panther, nor is a Panther a 'Mark IV'...

Though what on Earth happened to that Tigger I can't imagine!

it's not just the internet though, I have a book with a picture captioned 'KV1's race to the attack' (or similar)... One has a hole right through the turret, and the other has no tracks .

    Cheers,
    Adam.
