The turret lead me to think Russian (a la BT-2/7)... otherwise I'm guessing Italian or Romanian?

AFAIK it had only 290 degrees turret traverse. And this time we are probably using the same site as source:).

I think you are very right were the sources are concerned TOS, and you know what the vehicle is so your go :)

By the way to the others watching, a name and a little background info

The vehicle is the Czech Skoda MU-2 the armored vehicle was a loose copy of the Carden-Loyd. Only one prototype was made and dropped. And Tos has already mentioned that the turret could only rotate 290 degree's.

I'd hoped to avoid having to look for another one ..... well here it is, I think we haven't had it before.

Thanks, I have a photographic memory. Problem is, most of it is printed in invisible ink.

I'll look for the next poser.

Never mind. Can't upload a pic. Somebody else can take my place.

Correct, AFAIK the Lorraine 40 tonner was a the "lightweight" derivative of the AMX 50 but neither got to mass produced. Visually there seem to be a lot of Panther and Tiger II derivation in those vehicles.

Yes, it seems that they had an strong influence on their tank development. And i found an Russian influence on some of their heavy assault tanks too.
Now i´m sure that this one will be far to easy for you buff´s but i give it an try.
