Looks like Polish TKS and wooden mock-up of Russian T-34. this pic gives a good example of how small the TKS really was. A fairly comprehensive site about the TKS: Polish tankettes TK (TK-3) and TKS
View attachment 13833 It's tough to find a new tank that might give a little challenge, after searching this thread I didn't see this one posted before.
Yes, that's correct. Hungarian built but also based on the Swedish L-62. From what I've read about it the Hungarians had developed an anti-tank round for it but it proved in-effective except on soft targets. Your go.
Thank you Slomo! I´ll give that a try. It is far to easy for you guys, but for the lack of having a really hard one, i´ll send it. View attachment 13842
And you call that easy? the only visible distinctive feature is the exhaust pot. Nearly sure it's a German prototype, those ring shaped things simulating the weight of the turret are distinctive and the hull shape is Pz III like but it could be any one of the various "missing links" between the Pz III and Pz IV and the Panther. Looking at the track it left on the ground it looks like it has a plough !!!
You made the half way TOS! OK, easy was a bit to euphoric but you´re all very experienced guys, so it won´t last long.
Hope you are right, there are quite a few of VK someting and the info I have on them is spread over several books, I would hate to have to dig into that.
I've found more info on the VK3001.....nice link here VK 30.01 (H) :: Germany (DEU) :: Tanks I think I'm right according to the pic I just found......rear view. It seems 1 or 2 of the prototypes were used for testing of plough blades and other digging equipment.
Slomo, the price goes to you! The rings for the weight are made of steel but the rest is correct! TOS, let the books rest in your library! But it would have been nice to seek you between the pages
Sorry for the delay, but trying to find a unique pic is tough ok try this.....the scan isn't great. View attachment 13852
These tanks look like Soviet T-37 light amphibious tanks. The forward one belongs to commander, judging by its frame aerial. Regards,
