Hmmm....my best guess would be an armored version of Sd.kfz. 10, but that's about all I've got. :) There were many variations of this vehicle...

Yes Slome thats the right track. Not many were made and it was a experimental vehicle which were in service with some StuG Units as a Observation vehicle.
More to find at the book "Panzer Tracts No 11" from T.L. Jentz. I give it to you.

    Here´s another pic of it

Just a guess but it could be the British Medium Tank Mark 111

Only 3 pilots were built in the early 1930's

:) Darren, your guess is as good as it gets. Nice call!

At a cost of aproximately £16,000 apiece these tanks (sometimes referred to as "16-tonners" because of the weight restrictions imposed) were considered to be to expensive and the project was halted.

It's said that this tank also suffered from same problems with suspension as it's predecessor the "A-6" series which tended to bottom-out in rough terrain.

    Over to you.

IIRC, this is German improvized tank used at La Rochelle after it was blocked by the Allies. I remember that this vehicle was called "pouche de La Rochelle", but no other details.

Found this as an explanation, not fully convinced though the main weapon looks more like a Pak 38 but gun shield still looks wrong.

"Poche de La Rochelle, Improvised SPG on Schneider 19.4cm SPG chassis, box hull bevelled inward, wide shield, 7.5 cm Pak 40."

Description was quoted as coming from

Crow and Icks, Encyclopedia of Tanks

Don't know the exact designation but, it has a riveted hull, so my guess: its one of the early prototypes of the Soviet T-28 medium tanks.

Second thoughts :) it could be an off-shoot from the T-28 project. T-29 maybe, which I think tried using the Christie suspension.

no definently a T-28, notice the copula on the front lefthand side, but the horseshoe radia antenna is on the body rather than the turret

    Slomo correct.

The prototype T29 is correct, that one is of the T29-5, a T28 replacement attempt with christie running gear based on the T28 around 1935.
