U.S. soldiers inspect a captured 28/32-cm Nebelwerfer 41. The weapon is loaded, but electrical leads are not connected to the bases of the rocket motors. Note the box (shown open) which protects the sight.

Commonwealth troops in the desert loved to get their hands on Italian Bredas, both MG´s and cannons.

British troops in Tobruk man a 20mm Breda on a barge. Note the 12 round strips.

The LRDG armed its trucks with them every time they could.

I have to chime in here, first, the germans liked its 71 round drum and not so much the caliber which was a weak 7.63 russian pistol round. both the US .45 and the german 9mm para round had a lot more punch down range. capacity was an issue for the germans to the point where they did a hasty redesign of the mp-40 to accept 2 -32 round mags which failed miserably due to its weight and its poorly excecuted design. plus, in any army, the grass is always greener when it comes to the other sides weapons.:p
