Can we start a list of songs of the 30's and 40's going here? I'd like to see everything here military and domestic songs and what not.

    Let the fun begin ;)

Man, where to start? 'Jeep Jockey Jump' is one of my favorite wartime Glenn Miller tunes. For his pre-war stuff, I rather like 'The Spirit is Willing' and 'The Rhumba Jumps'.

Some more by GM: (although not all of these were originally done by Glenn, and this is a mix of pre-war and wartime stuff...)

Beat Me Daddy, Eight to the Bar
    Everybody Loves My Baby
    Tail-End Charlie
    Caribbean Clipper
    Little Brown Jug
    Long Ago and Far Away
    Stormy Weather
    Bugle Call Rag
    Poinciana
    Here We Go Again
Anvil Chorus Parts I & II
    Tuxedo Junction
    Indian Summer
    American Patrol
Is You Is or Is You Ain't My Baby?
    Song of the Volga Boatmen
    Stardust
    Tiger Rag
    At Last
I Dreamt I Dwelt in Harlem
    Sun Valley Jump
    Elmer's Tune
    Moonlight Cocktail
    Chatanooga Choo-Choo
    Great Day
    Glenn Island Special
The Lady's in Love With You
    Pennsylvania 6-5000
    Mission to Moscow
    Kalamazoo
    Keep 'Em Flying
    Oh, Lady Be Good
    Stompin' at the Savoy
    7-0-5
    Cherokee
    Guns In the Sky
    The Victory Polka
    A String of Pearls
    Now I Know
    Moonlight Serenade

And of course, how could anyone forget... In the Mood?

    Shall I go on?

    Fade to Black...
