Well, I had to be a little different!

I'm a retired Marine, currently a deputy sheriff in SE Michigan. Right now I work Corrections, Midnight shift. That's good in a way, because I get to do a lot of typing!!!

My interests in WWII are primarily the ETO. I'm slowly working on a divisional history of 6.SS-Nord. Emphasis on slowly. I'm trying to do something right now to get some more money to buy microfilm, but I can't talk about that yet. Too mercenary.

As I scroll through, I'm hoping to see some folks from other forums I belong to, like Feldgrau, AHF, Tanks in WWII, Feldpost, WW2talk, Worldwartwozone, and all the other ones I can't think of right now. I think there are about 10 now!

I'll hit the "What If" section last. That could be too much fun for one night!

Welcome Aboard Tom! :salute: Glad to have you with us.

Are you the same Tom Houlihan as the Maps at War Tom Houlihan? If so, I'm quite pleased to make your acquaintance, you do some good work.

Good luck with your research, there are some very knowledgeable Rogues here that might be able to assist you in your searches.

Good to have a solid contributor to the WWII knowledge base here. Why not put your website into your signature or your profile Tom? A website like that is worth sharing & promoting.

Um...Okay! I just have to figure out how! Well, I thought I just put it in my signature, but maybe I don't have enough Time In Service for it to take?

Erich, would that be Gebirgsjager im Bild? Have it! I also have Schreiber's book, but haven't tried translating it yet.
