I didn't realize the Germans made such widespread use of US armour while in the desert.:D

And believe-it-or-not but, John Wayne took over another star's seat on the Hollywood Squares for a week because the person he took over for, was a good friend and who was also making a movie at that time. I don't remember the year but can probably find out.

A very sad end to a good movie career for George Pepard, I love the no reload ever firearms...Hollywood at its best, with all that jacketed lead flying not a scratch;)

Saw Rat Patrol on DVD....Hmmmm a guilty pleasure.

I seem to recall, could be wrong, that most Hollywood weps(today) were .25 cal and many plastic dummies(Private Ryan) someone was trying to sell them on ebay, go figure.

Liked Magnum P.I. and Miami Vice earlier seasons.

    some others I miss,
    Andromeda
    Farscape
    Red Dwarf
    Red Green
    already said...
Monty Python, Benny Hill, Laugh in, Mork (at times), Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Night Court, Cheers, Mad TV, 20 Mule Team (Borax), Rawhide, Big Valley (at times), Magnum PI, Rockford Files (love to hate Angel)
Should have another "Thread" of never/seldom watched shows of then and now. See whether or not TV has improved, or if they think they're "bullet-proof", and can shovel anything at you and you have to take/embrace it. (like Government, or PC)

Too true! Still I enjoyed the A-Team because of its tounge-in-cheek humor.
I also like the following shows in the 1970s:
Emergency (which inspired me to learn first aid and similar stuff as a kid)
    Adam-12
    Battlestar Galactica
    Classic Star Trek reruns
    UFO
    Mission Impossible
    Baa Baa Black Sheep

And of course the two main favorites:
Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman. I remember the scariest episode for me as a kid was when Steve Austin's arm was crushed by the Probe! I couldn't sleep at night after that.

Unlike every other British comedy show, I've found Red Dwarf to be slightly amusing at times. When my cousin from London was down here in Mississippi he used to sit in front of the tube and laugh his ass off watching Monty Python and Benny Hill. I just remember sitting there poker-faced and wondering to myself what I'd missed or how that was supposed to be funny. Purely cultural I suppose.

Hi Richard, I don't know if it was made in Australia or not but, the only original from the show to be on this one was: Peter Graves. I forget the names of the other actors that were on that show except for Jane Badler-more famously known as her role as one of the commanding "Visitors" in the mini-series and TV show: "V". I loved the up-dated version of the Mission Impossible theme.

This revival came out in the late 1980's and I think the chow lasted maybe 2 seasons? not sure? I used to have them all on tape but, I had a bad case of "The Stupids" and gave them all away.

Quite welcome. And yeah, I do remember The Avengers. I was in love with Emma Peel. I wonder what she and Patrick MacNee "John Steed" are doing these days? I know both are still alive-or were, last I heard.

That she certain does. Thanks for the pics of Emma Peel.

PS, loved the theme song to the series as well.

Ha Ha....:D Red Dwarf fans! I thought I was the only one. Now on a limb, any Lexx fans? Xenia Seeberg is outstanding, Something about German Girls, Heidi Klum....

I liked Emma Peel but these days I'll take Liz Hurley in the catsuit with a jaguar(hunter green, brown leather interior and v12 of course):)

I always liked Robert Conrad as James West, he's still a tough old guy.

    Forgot Lexx & Firefly
Have most of what I mentioned on DVD, if not, it's on order or waiting for it (more of it) to become available.
Also have Robot Chicken & Trippin the Rift...Love "Chode", but they got the axe after two seasons. Guess I'm alone again...so what !:p
Fun & funny is subjective....like what you want, you're not here forever, and no one can make that decision for you.

Yep that indeed is the one, just wish it was on DVD. :(

I tapped most of series 1-3 of the original series and it's the best in my opinion.

Hi Richard, "V" is out on DvD-at least here in the States. Not sure if Mission Impossible is out yet-im fairly sure it is though.
