I've got a few more, hoping the Gurkhas would catch some out.

I'm accepting down to Bn/Rgt sized units

Drop Palestine, it wasn't a nation then or now.

    Otherwise, add:
    Algeria
    Brazil
    Rhodisia
    Australia

    I'm accepting Palestine.

Australia didnt have any Ground Troops.

Sthn Rhodesia was another tricky one, an Armoured Car Rgt served with 6 Sth African Armoured Division.

2 to go, plus one which is technically not correct.

I know it is not my turn, but in an effort to revive this very interesting thread here is a new question.
In 1942 one of the Axis armies surrounded an entire city with barbed wire, essentially creating a concentrating camp out of it.
Name the city and the Axis force that did it.

Skopje might be it but I guess Kiev. I remember that German HQ at one point calculated that they could feed 1.5 million and there were some 2 million in the city so they got rid of some 500,000. Kiev and German Army ( SS and Wehrmacht ).
