Hi, I have made a one minuet WW2 film with re-enactors from the UK. It is currently in the first round of judging for the 60 second BAFTA award. If it makes it through then the film will go to a public vote on the 28th of January. You can view the film online now at: Bafta 60 Seconds - sixtysec - Shoulder to Shoulder If you like the film then please pass on the message and help a film made by a 20 year old filmmaker and UK Re-enactors receive a BAFTA nomination. I would also love to hear what you think about the film, as WW2 enthusiasts, your opinion really maters to me. Thanks, Will McGregor P.S. I am planning to continue making WW2 films, if anyone feels they have something to offer or just want to be involved then let me know.
I like it! It's fantastically professional, interesting subject matter and well thought out. Shortfilms often attempt to do too much but it's good that with 60 seconds you showed someone 'having a moment.' Good stuff.
Will, Good Job! Looked very good, even with your shoe-sting budget. The editing shows the confusion of and urgency of the situation. Is there more?
Very nice! I have always wanted to make a short film myself with other re-enactors involved. What kind of camera was being used, and how did you get the film processed?
We shot it on a Canon XH A1, which is a mini dv camera, The voting is now open and will close on the 3rd of February!! The link is the same as in the original post, Thanks, Will
