I'm with you Adam. I love those 8 Rad set of wheels. Next to the StuGs, the sdkfz 234s or a fav. I noticed that Germany and Great Britain relied heavily on their armoured cars.
Ask and ye shall receive.........you have heard of that, no? StuGs are so good, even the Finns are using them......here's a salute for you my friend.
PzJgr started it in everything but pictures and words so I obliged him. But I think VP is right no one really knows what a tank is.
eeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Hold that horse. Better point that finger somewhere else partner cause that song don't hold no tune. Check out my orignal post Looks like a 'tank'. Smells like a 'tank'.
Anyone in a foxhole or city street that sees a force of tracked military vehicles bearing down on them surely knows exactly what to shout (after a few obscenities and general abusive expressions meaning 'enemy' or 'Government troops'). Whether it's an APC, SPG, TD, SPATG, ARV, AVRE, or MBT, semantics has to fly out of the window... A tank is a tank. (On a mildly more serious note Patrick Wright's 'Tank' is very good on these things, more of a sociological than technological survey of the beasts.) Ah bless it! M****n H********n I believe. I'll get my coat...
Aww look at it, its so cute! It has eyes, and ears. and reading glasses! Now if it only had a mouth and a nose... Tharr she goes!: Ok ok [/offtopic] My favourite tank is either this: Or this: Although this ones an ugly bitch.
off topic abit, but i once say a picture of an austalian jeep in the pacific with a perfectly drawn bulls eye on the back it was quite humourous.
Me fav'rite tank, Guv'nor? Deffo the Centurion. But if this is confined to WWII - I can't decide between the Churchill & the Comet. Both represented the peak of development for the Infantry (Churchill) & Cruiser (Comet) tank designs. Klive
Are my eyes deceiving me? Someone has something good to say about the Churchill! At least now I know I'm not the only one.
:v4victory: Ah the Brit tanks are coming! I can almost hear "Land of Hope and Glory" coming out of the speakers.
Sometimes piss artists... Though I think a bit of George Formby might suit this one better than Land of Hope & Gory. MRC 'Firefly'. Cheers, Adam.
