All of these are right except for North Italy and Egypt. The Germans did not fully occupy Egypt, only fought there against the Brits in 1941-42 at Tobruk, Alam Halfa, and El Alamein. Italy was all Italian I think. Algeria was also partially true; the Vichy French occupied Algeria most of the time, along with a few German troops here and there.

Depends on what the definition of 'Occupy' is. Germany did occupy Northern Italy after they surrendered to the allies and set up Mussolini as a puppet governement.

The definition I referred to is the fact that the country was put under complete (military) control by the Germans. AKA, the Germans had troops stationed there and they enforced law.

    Sorry for the Confusion, PzJgr.

Austria as you said but depending on your definition of Anschlus.
    Latvia
    Estonia
    Lithuania
    United Kingdom (Channel Islands)
    Denmark

I don't think Algeria was a country then. It certainly wasn't known as that then-Cyrenaica
Wasn't Crete a part of Greece?

Where did Algeria belong to then?
Crete, I said because it is an Island and not directly connected to Greece

When was Monaco invaded? Wasn't it neutral same as Vatican, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Liechenstein?...

Does Rhineland, Sudettenland count? Or are they part of a country? (IN THAT TIME!!)

Rhineland was invaded before WWII, Sudettenland also before WWII Because of Negotiation.

I mispoke early Tunisia was Cyrenacia. Algeria was Algeria and was a French colony. Cyrenacia, Tunis and Tripolitania were all ruled by Italians.

Monaco was invavded by the Italians then occupied by the Germans when the Italians bowed out of the war.

I guess Liechtenstein was neutral. I thought the Germans overran them when they hammered the other Western nations in 1940.

The Rhineland was part of Germany demiltarized to force them pay reparations. The Sudetenland was part of Czechoslovakia that offered up to Hitler by try to obtain "Peace in our time." Didn't work too well.

All were combined with Russia, and they were all called Russia under a world map, but regonally they were referred to Ukraine and Belarussia, etc.

many of the areas you guys described were just simply part of the battlefield~ Russia for example and Italia-the whole country from the butt of the boot northward till the last days and surrender in the Tirol. the Rhineland in whatever you have determined by boundries was and is a part of Deutschland

You mean with Russia, Soviet union, cause I never said Russia was occupied. Russia was only invaded.

North-Italy was occupied. Hitler wanted to hold the Allied south.

IIRC Algeria was also considered part of Metropolitan France.

Yes, but the fact remains. Africa was never a part of Germany

We have discussed this before haven't we. The whole idea of reclaiming 'Germania' is utter tripe coming from Nazi propaganda and seized upon by the ill infomed.

Actually no, under a world map they were all under the USSR, Russia, the Ukraine and so on were all recognised as different regions by all but the lazy and the ignorant. The nation was the USSR, it's members included Georgia, Russia, Ukraine and so on.
