    :confused::confused::confused:

    were they perhaps the team that carried out the gleiwitz incident or something similar?

    or are we looking for a 'before they were famous' person in the photo?

    I have not been able to identify any of the soldiers in the picture, but i can say the photo was taken between 1940 and 1945.

    By "Imposed", do you mean that the picture is posed or something(My English is out of reach at the moment and i can't quite understand it even if i translate it from English to Norwegian (Damn you google translate)). The picture is not fake or anything, it is a part of my militaria collection. But it is one thing that makes it special...

    superimposed = cut out and stuck on top

    It looks like the man at the front is from a different photo and he has been added 'technically' at the time?

    No, it is not superimposed, and it is not the people that are special...

    Still wrong, a tip: The rifle comes from a country that was neutral during ww1.

    Wow, you are so close. You are indeed correct(I thought you would have expected that i would post something about Norway, i have done that quite a lot in this quiz). The rifle is indeed Norwegian.

    first thing i looked for was a Norway connection, but can't find a match. Maybe one of the modifications done to the Jarmann?

    No... You get 1 more hint: It was a weapon that was used by the Norwegian army before the war and during the invasion.
