I guess I've been reading about World War II since I was 12. I brought home a 'condensed' single-book version of Winston S Churchill's series of books on the war, and I was pretty much hooked after that. That was 26 years ago, and I still buy/borrow/read more books on the subject, and I also play online WWII sims/MMOs. Like anyone, I have areas (at least I think) I know a lot about, and also areas I'm pretty weak in, so maybe in this forum I can learn some new stuff, and maybe others can learn something from me. I had always meant to join a forum such as this, but now that I work 6 PM to 4:30 AM 4 nights a week, and sit and wait for calls for hours sometimes, this gives me a place to kill some time. --Mav

Hi, sorry about the graveyard shift, if it's any consolation most of my friends that work midnite to 8 aren't thrilled either. You will enjoy this site. Cheers, Peter
I actually don't mind the hours, and, having Thurs/Fri/Sat off (and most of Sunday) is a pretty good deal.
Wecome to the Forum, Mav. There is a lot of reading to keep you busy on the night shift! I'm still trying to work my way through the old posts!
