it is on a prominent figure in the war, but i would like him or her to be a controversial figure so that i can take a side and support it with evidence. has anyone got any ideas?

Patton, Monty, Churchill, Halder, Jodl, Stauffenberg, Ribbentrop, Bormann....

Just some names to start with.

Just ideas Carpe, for close-to-home relevance, how about MacArthur - aims and motives? Or, for someone you can really astound with, how about Canaris - patriot or traitor?

Why don't you do a speech that analyzes Hitler's public speaking techniques? You know, a speaker analyzing a speaker.

    Or Rudolf Hess

    Or Hirohito

    Or Mrs Roosevelt
