Hello everyone. My WW2 obsession has been growing worse every day :). I have been reading every book and watching every documentary I can get a hold of. I spent 4 years in the USMC, and was stationed on Okinawa for one of those years. I was there during the rainy season and I can't even imagine what is was like for those guys who had to fight in that mess. One of the best books I have read about the war was "With the Old Breed" by Eugene Sledge. Best movie had got to be "Saving Private Ryan", and of coarse favorite mini series "Band of Brothers". I am buying the book "Helmet for my Pillow Tonight" since I found it for a reasonable price.
