In The Pictorial History of the Flying Tigers, author Larry Pistole provides a list of aircraft nos. and associated pilots. Pilots Charles Older and Neil Martin are listed with No. 68 from the AVG's 3rd Squadron. However, the author goes on to say that it's impossible to determine exactly the pilot assignment of each aircraft due to a number of factors. Terrill Clements' Osprey volume on the AVG notes that No. 68 was flown at different times by Older, Robert Hedman, and Ken Jernstedt.
