I heard that many European Countries are starting to crack down on illegal aliens. It sorta is start

This thread is not meant to be malicious in any way, shape or form.

Several local news stories that have happened in the past week here in and near where I live about smuggling in illegal drugs and aliens.

OK, the idiotic politicians (including both republicans and dems) have not embrased the idea of border fences etc. Well, how would you feel, if you lived in the midst of what im going to be telling you about?

OK, the idiots that are running this Country that are some 2,000 or so thousand miles from here are saying that we do not need any border fences-let the drone planes patrol the border-etc yadda yadda yadda.

Well, in the past seven days, at the Border Patrol Checkpoints located near Sarita and Falfurrias, Texas-have had numerous stoppings of people trying to smuggle drugs through the area-including at least I think three-huge hauls. That also includes finding huge bundles of cash hidden as well. Another thing is, that they have stopped at least two or so Semi's with dozens of illegals stuffed into the cargo area of these trucks.

OK, one truck (the first one stopped this week) was filled with I think two dozen illegals. About 1/2 of these were from China!! the rest from Mexico, South America and I think three-who were thought to be from the Middle-east.

The 2nd truck had about 17 or so people-who were all from Mexico. How can they honestly tell me that there is no problem? or that how can they not want to do anything about this??? Everytime I.C.E. does their raids on businesses that employ illegals-idiot groups like La Raza - which means: "The Race," and al psycho-sharpton gets up and yells charges of racisim etc.

Now, from the stories I heard about the crackdown in some European Countries. I can't cits which for sure and how much they are cracking down as I only heard it briefly mentioned in the news and I was also not really paying much attention to the stories.

Well, I heard that Germany, is starting to crack down on illegal Croations and Russians sneaking in. Italy I think was starting to crack down on illegals from the middle east? I think? I forget wqho they said that the French were cracking down on-and I can only assume they might be from the middle east?

Back to Texas.

Corpus Christi is only a few hours from the border w/ Mexico. I think from here, it is about a 150 mile drive to Brownsville-which is on the border w/ Matamoros, Mexico. In the news lately, there have been a LOT of stories coming from not only the Bropwnsville/Matamoros area, but the Laredo/Neuvo Laredo area, and the El Paso area-talking about the Mexican Chiefs of Police-who are assassinated in those Cities, American citizens being abducted and not ever heard from again, to drug gang shoot-outs that happen in those Cities seemingly; all the time. Isn't this a bit frustrating, to see one thing happen when your told that the opposite is happening?

I don't know if any Texans on this site know anything about the small border town of Roma, Texas? but, that town is well-known by Law Enforcement to be full of mostly nothing but drug trafficers. When I was in College in Harlingen, I had a few classes with two pretty Americans of Mexican descent-gals. Well, one of them has a very wealthy Uncle-who paid for their College. Well, the Uncle also gave his Niece a brand new top of the line, White painted-Ford truck. This truck had some customizing to it. The paint job was top notch, the double cab, had two TV sets in it, a small bar, and I forget what else?

I got to see the inside of this truck when it was confiscated from the girl that it had been given to because I guess the authorities had "busted" her Uncle? Well, the uncle got out of Jail, and he immediately bought his niece-another top-of-the-line white Ford truck-I guess with the same customizations done? less than two weeks after the first one was confiscated.

To end this long rant, I was wondering if anyone from Europe, can please tell of what is happening over in their Countries-about similar matters?

 

Just last week I called the Police because my neighbors were partying a little too late for me, 1 am is enough already!, anyway in the paper just yesterday there was my neighbor, being deported!

 

It also used to make it in the news here all the time when I was still working as a C.O. III for the State, that when the Border Patrol would take control of a few dozen Inmates from the four State and one Federal Prisons, that are in and near Beeville, TX-ex-home of a fine U.S. Naval Air Station.

Many times I had the duty of having to supervise these inmates until they were picked up. Most that were deported, used the prison system as basically a revolving door in their home away from home.

Carl, you're absolutely right. I lived even in Dallas for a couple of years and I could not get a physical labor job for the life of me. I was doing schooling down there and did not have any experience in anything so that's what I needed. Every jobsite I went on it was all foreigners working there. all legal of course. :bleah: I understand completely what you're saying, something needs to desperately be done and the loopholes need to be closed!

 

Do you think you unwittingly got your neighbor deported by reporting the noise to the police???

THank you Onthefield. Also, with today's Supreme Court decision-it looks like things may be are starting to turn around and maybe correct themselves-such as the way our Country has been attacked so much-from within.

Cerephix, it takes much more than a phonecall in order to get that person deported. For one, and is most likely what the deportation cause was, was that said person probably had a criminal background with a rap-sheet as long as his arm.

Another thing, said person was also most likely an MS 13 gangmember. If it turned out that he was, this guy was no innocent Angel.

Thirdly, being that this guy already broke our laws by sneaking into our Country - which last I heard, was still illegal, then rightly so he should be deported. Cerephix, I'd hope that you will agree that laws should be obeyed and enforced. That is one of the many reasons why we have a small number of great people who are trying to keep our Country from becoming a place of anarchy.

Lastly, laws are made to be abided by-and enforced-whether we like them or not or whether we agree with some of them or not. If a law is not enforced, then what good is it to have any laws?

In simple terms about the guy that Scott called the Cops on, he was here without permission to be so, was found out when the cops arrived, and handed over to the Border Patrol to be processed out.

I suppose it's possible, but I doubt it. They don't normally arrest people around here for a noise complaint, so he must have done something to get the Police to run his name or whatever. But I have no problem with him being deported, my Father came here legally, why can't he!

 

That brings up a great point bigfun. I love the fact that the US is open to bringing in immigrants who are willing to go through the paperwork and pay for at least some of their schooling of course they'll get grants and scholarships but still they do it right. It's illegal immigrants that bug me. I have good friends who are here legally from India, they waited 6 years to get their visas to come over here but they waited! People who jump the fence or float across or stow away to get here are ILLEGAL, our laws tell us so.

 

I watched a news piece on the BBC about how tough it is for the Mexican police along border towns just to fight the drug gangs. In the last two years there have been over 1400 deaths of both police and gang members.
The report says the gangs get their guns from the USA (AK-47's) and the police get theirs from the US also, (M-16's). They said Flordia is the #1 source.
I have never seen this reported by the US news media.
I don't think anything will get better until intelligent people from both North and South America sit down and find a comprehensive solution to all the problems going on such a poverity, guns, drugs, over population, and corruption.
Also I read that the Border Patrol agents have one of the lowest morales of any federal agency.
Canada does not export her people by the thousands because it is a nice place to live and work. If South and Central America would decrease their population perhaps it would get better there also, but the Catholic Church is very strong there so there is little or no birth control and there are too many people and too little resources for people to live on.

Anouther problem is that big business loves cheap labor and big business makes big campaign contributions. They are not about to dry up their cheap labor supply so a fence is not a solution.

As SCott said: "my Father came here legally, why can't he?" as the samething goes for my Grandfather-who came here from Norway and joined the U.S> Army and fought in France as a Doughboy. I don't know the exact year he became an American Citizen but, I do know that it was partially due to his service in WWI. I can imagine that Ellis Island, was a pretty bustling polace to be back in those days.

There are tons of "Immigrantion Lawyers" here in my area as well im sure, that are all over the Country-whose sole purpose is to get as many illegals as they can-to do things the right way and get on their path to becoming Americans. However, these lawyers are also teaching them how to cut in front of others who have been waiting for many years doing things the right way. I personally know a few people who did this and they're pissed as hell about it; and I don't blame them at all.

A few months ago, I happen to be in the Federal Courthouse here in town and I got to witness about 400 or so people, take their oath and becoming Americans. Many of these were Hispanic, Asian and African and it was nice to see so many who did things the right way-in order to come live here. I spoke with an Oriental Lady who was several months into her pregnamcy (1st child, to be exact) and she told me that she was going to name her baby "America." I thought that was pretty darn cool of her to say that and made me beam because of being American.

 

I have a question what is so bad about the illegals sneaking in and taking the jobs no one wants to do (I understand why you are angry about drugs and such) I live in so cal and since the immigration crackdown we have fruits rotting on their trees because no one wants to spend 10 hours in a field picking strawberries. Also I keep hearing people talk about how Laws are meant to be obeyed, america was founded on an act of high treason and in the civil war they broke the law(on both sides Lincoln had secessionists arrested) and the civil rights movement all times when laws had to be broken to serve the greater good, I could see from some peoples view that this immigration thing is the same as the civil rights movement.

They aren't taking jobs that people don't want. Its companies trying to make an easy buck. Why pay a Citizen minimum wage to pick apples when you can pay 6 Illegal Immigrants 1 dollar each (roughly calling minimum wage $6-an-hour) and get six-times the work for the same amount of money? Living legally in this country, you can't live off $1-an hour.

 

First off, whats so confusing about this? A person who breaks OUR laws by sneaking ILLEGALLY into OUR Country is already a criminal-and rightly so.

2nd, you need to quit only listening to your liberal teachers and look at things for yourself-you just MIGHT be surprised to find out that your liberal teachers are wrong.

3rd--the rest is B.S. I moved to a mid-sized City-called Austin here in Texas, and I cant find a job. I put in over 100 job applications in this period and have not heard a damned thing from any of them. Yet, I found it rather interesting that huge companies like WalMart, are constantly hiring jerks who dont understand or speak a lick of English. Another company just as bad-is McDonalds. Shall I go on and list more? I dont think I need to because you SHOULD get the jist of what im trying to say. You bet it pissses me off. Im sick and tired of these damned companies being "politically correct" and hiring these illegals and these who dont understand or speak any English.

Im tired of going to some business to conduct some business, and being forced to have to deal with someone who cant speak the language that the vast majority of us here in the USA have always spoken since day one--which is E~N~G~L~I~S~H-NOT espanol, arabic, african-or some other language NOT more native to this land.

All I can say, is I CANT WAIT till November rolls around and we ticked off loyal Americans will vote as many of the a-holes out of office that we can. I HOPE and PRAY that it is a clean sweep.

Texas is going to be in trouble if bill white gets elected? This guy is a creep in a sheeps clothing, hes a scumbag to the nth degree, and he will screw up this State much more worse than rick perry is doing. I dont like rick perry but, hes all we have since Debra Medina was not given a chance. That Lady had my vote, now im FORCED into picking the lesser of two evils again, and im getting sick and tired of being FORCED into voting that way.

In closing, I have voted in EVERY election we have had on any level, since I first became eligable to vote-so therefore, I do have a right to complain-those who dont vote-DO NOT have a right to gripe.

In a document/news some days ago it was claimed that in the Spain/Italy area ca 3,000 contacts were made usually by this time (last year) with illegal aliens trying to come from the direction of Africa, and now from the beginning of year only up to 30-40. It seems the economical depression news has also reached the illegal aliens´camp. At the moment the Greek borderline is considered the next important area to keep an eye on to check the illegal aliens from Asia/Turkey.
