Heres my gun. Picked it up yesterday. They somehow lost the key to the Trigger Guard, so I am going to go back to the store tomorrow to get them to give me a new key or unlock it themselves.

First, an image of the gun whole.

Next is a closeup of the scope/bolt.

    A similiar view, Bolt Open:

And finally, the right side of the gun:

    Yes, I'm a south paw!

Good looking rifle. I really like the finish on the stock.
Are you a very good shot ? I can't hit the side of a barn !

I qualified with the M16 a few years ago, first time firing a gun. And that was with Iron sights! I imagine with a scope i should be just as good if not better. This will be the second gun i've ever fired. Well, maybe not. Tomorrow is Hunters Safety Course I signed up for, and apparently i get to fire some guns and bows?

Good luck at the course and looks like a nice rifle. I try not to use a scope LOL. I prefer using the good ole Mk I ;) LOL

It does indeed look like a very nice nice example of weaponry; I especially like the "jeweled" bolt which I seldom see on rifles these days.

I'm with you JC, I only own one rifle equipped with a scope; a Ruger Mini 30 with a variable power scope, but it's only a 1.5X-4X and I never use any magnification above 2X.

I also have a CAR-15 with an optic (Red Dot) sight t5hat is fun to shoot, but I really prefer open iron sights like I have on my Custom "shorty" M-14

The last two attachments are photos of my favorite carry piece, a Springfield Arsenal V-10 Officer's Model in stainless.
