That brings back some memories! We used to catch Jethro Tull at Cobo Arena in Detroit. Cobo was perfect for those really rich stage shows in that era because they had state of the art sound and lighting and so on. It was a real experience to see Tull or the Moody Blues or Emerson, Lake and Palmer in a venue like that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBvGZP4srZA

Oh. Hear Die Antwood has a new one coming out. Evil Boy was very entertaining. Nice to see him rise from the dust of SA.
Having a morning of rock 'n roll remembrance... About 1982 I had been on a cutter in San Juan for a couple of years when we sailed up to Baltimore for work in the yards. Some of us were sitting in a bar when it was suggested we go to a dance club for, you know, girls. I was against the idea because, you know, disco... I got dragged along anyway, only to learn that disco had died a well-deserved death in the last couple of years while I had been listening to salsa and reggae down in the islands. When we walked in Tommy Tutone was playing and I remember thinking "what the hell is that?" It was rock, but... different. It was the New Wave and I hadn't heard any of this. And yeah, there were lots of girls; spiky haired, glittery, sexy girls. Me Grok, just melted from glacier, please dance with me? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WTdTwcmxyo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_50-gOeBilc#t=82 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rqnw5IfbZOU
