Hi E, what you said and I would almost bet that that witch-billery, was hoping that obama-lama-ding-dong, would have gotten ticked off enough at those remarks biden made that promised certain things to happen that obama-lama-ding-dong; was against. I remember watching that when aired on the news-and BOY you should have seen the anger on ding-dongs face. That was worth a million votes for Sarah ;-D

On the media-those fraks already chose who they want as Pres-a long time ago. I hope Sarah is good enough to pull them through to victory. At any rate, they'll get plenty of votes.

I think billery sees it's star fading more and more as the election nears.

If I was american, and old enough to vote, I wouldn't listen to the media. Bunch of idiots anyways, I'd vote mccain, because i'll take experience over popularity any day. Mccain and Bush aren't all that similar I think...

I think I will write in Jessie Ventura for President.. I am tired of all the double talk from McCain and Obama.
Palin did well in the debait but not well enough to help McCain get ahead. When I watched her I was thinking how warm and sincere she was as opposed to how cold and uncaring Hillary seemed to be.

Hi Erich, you are absolutly correct. It is nowhere near as bad as they are making it out to be. The economy will grind to a halt? Rubbish! IF we don't pass this bill a crisis will become a catastrophy? Rubbish! It may hurt for a while, but the will of the people will guide us through difficult times. It's all about heart, and Americans have a big one.

no doubt Mike, we are a resilient people, again I'd like to see the big 700Billion in our hands, actually back in OUR hands as it isn't the govt's anyway
Sarah was so so in the debate, think the repubs are pressuring her to be Miss Washitonian and not herself, and the people want the latter ......

Richard it is ridiculous and today America joined the rank(see smell) of Socialist nations.

Barney Frank, Frankin Raines, Chris Dodd, and the usual suspects should be jailed for a scandal far worse than Enron or Craig's bathroom adventures.

Democrat Barney Frank, Chairman, Massachusetts, Democrat Paul E. Kanjorski, Pennsylvania; Democrat Maxine Waters, California; Democrat Carolyn B. Maloney, New York; Democrat Luis Gutierrez, Illinois; Democrat Nydia Velázquez, New York; Democrat Mel Watt, North Carolina; Democrat Gary Ackerman, New York; Democrat Brad Sherman, California; Gregory W. Meeks, New York; Democrat Dennis Moore, Kansas; Democrat Michael Capuano, Massachusetts; Democrat Ruben Hinojosa, Texas; Democrat William Clay, Jr., Missouri; Democrat Carolyn McCarthy, New York * Joe Baca, California; Democrat Stephen Lynch, Massachusetts; Democrat Brad Miller, North Carolina; Democrat David Scott, Georgia; Democrat Al Green, Texas; Democrat Emanuel Cleaver, Missouri; Democrat Melissa Bean, Illinois; Democrat Gwen Moore, Wisconsin; Democrat Lincoln Davis, Tennessee; Democrat Paul Hodes, New Hampshire; Democrat Keith Ellison, Minnesota; Democrat Ron Klein, Florida; DemocratTim Mahoney, Florida; Democrat Charlie Wilson, Ohio; DemocratEd Perlmutter, Colorado; DemocratChris Murphy, Connecticut; DemocratJoe Donnelly, Indiana; Democrat Bill Foster, Illinois; Democrat André Carson, Indiana; Democrat Jackie Speier, California; Democrat Don Cazayoux, Louisiana; and Democrat Travis Childers, Mississippi. are all responsible for the hard earning taxpayers eating it. In the old days there would be torches and pitch forks or at least tar and feathers.

What's next the great casino bailout???

no Colonel you, me and other Americans are going to be taxed beyond reason to help pay for this tragedy ......... in my opinion this was a criminal act to use OUR monies in this fashion without our approval.

Remember one thing this was a joint effort by both parties

Hi E, you hit the nail on the head with this one. I was talking with my Bro-in-Law while watching the debates last night. Double thumbs up to Sarah Palin though-she absolutely beat the hell out of biden. I can't stand biden-and I saw through his fake smile. You know who he reminded me of when I saw him and his fake smile? he reminded me of Jack Nicholson playing the Joker in Batman. From now on, i'll be referring biden as either: "Teeth" or "The Joker."

Burning Down The House: What Caused Our Economic Crisis? - Online-Sweepstakes.com

    my my, this is something

Vote the rascals out ! If we still have that power, it's past time to use it. Make a list from the web, find out the ones that voted for it (I know .. McCain-Obama-Biden did, but only so they wouldn't be awarded an economy "in the tank") ... Kennedy didn't vote, want a scared "Punk". His eyes are always on re-election until old age takes him.

On such an important matter I believe a national referendum would have been the least they could do before voting this. I don't know if the US Consitution would allow that kind of initiative, which would have delayed, cancelled or allowed the bailout in a much more democratic way. As for now the Amercans wil have to pay for the bankers and in way for the world. Whether it had to be done or not only time will tell, but if I was an American taxpayer I would feel mugged, betrayed and spoiled.

Your government actually wrote back to you?! I'd be surprised in Canada if the MP even considered what I had to say.

Haha, yes I got a message back. For some reason though I doubt he actually wrote it himself;) I'm sure it was a aid who wrote it and then mass e-mailed it to everyone who e-mailed his office.

Alright, lets figure this out. 850 billion dollar bailout. The US has a population of approximately 305 million. So get your checkbooks out and write one check out to Imperial Swine......er......er.......I mean congress for a total of approximately $2,787,000,000:eek:. Multiply by number of people in your household.

Oh crap, I don't have that kind of money! Maybe I'll just ask my bank for a loan:p

Not really a joint effort, what happened the first time it was rejected, that Demarats could have done it themselves, what happened the second time was the disenting members were bought off by pork. Historically the Democrat Party is up to their neck in this mess and that is why you see no congressonal investigation because they can't blame it on the Republicans. It's actually absurd that those who broke it are being trusted to fix it. Investigations which would make Enron look like a kid stealing a penny candy. Welcome to The New Steal as I coin and copyright the phrase in reference to a modern day New Deal.

And yes Erich, either they are going to tax us for this infamous redistribution of wealth to those who couldn't begin to afford a mortgage
and reward those for passing the hot potatoe of bad paper on Wall Street or print more money and further devaluate the buck or both.

Torches, Pitch Forks, Tar and Feathers.....A trip to Lexington Green;)
