Is this in a military context? The translation I know isn't.

I believe our USN subs are "boomers"; SSBN, or "attack" subs; SSN, there used to be "radar picket" subs; SSR (I think these have been struck from the fleet), and I also think those few which were originally "guilded missle" subs; SSGN have been redesigned to the SSN class, these days.

MACR = Missing Aircrew Report - correct
JANAC = Joint Army-Navy Assessment Committee - correct

RZI is not "Return to Zero- Inverted"

A hint, most of the remaining are used within MACRs.

    Not Bomb Assement Damage.

    Hints for remaining:

BAD relates to an aircraft facility

    RZI relates to aircraft movement

RMC, EUS and DNB are adminstrative terms for crew dispositions.

Hi fellows, I don't know to much about this sort of thing but given the clues above, this is my guess.

    BAD Barkmans Air Force Base
    DNB Died, non Battle
    RZI Removed from flight status
RMC Rescue Mission Commander or maybe Royal Marine Commando
    EUS Evacuated to the US

Correct on "Died, non-battle" and "Evacuated to US"

Not correct on BAD, RZI and RMC.

:) It's still probably wrong but I meant to type "Barksdale Air Force Base" not "Barkmans".

RMC ..... Return to Military Control
