Osama's No2 slams Obama - Yahoo! News UK

Al-Qaeda's second-in-command has slammed US president-elect Barack Obama for vowing to back Israel.

Ayman al-Zawahri warned Mr Obama that he would fail if he followed the policies of President George W Bush.

He made the statement on an audio tape published by the Site Institute, a US organisation that monitors Islamic militant groups.

Zawahri said: "America, the criminal, trespassing crusader, continues to be the same as ever, so we must continue to harm it, in order for it to come to its senses.

"Its (America's) criminal, expansionist crusader project in your lands has only been neutralised by the sacrifices of your sons, the mujahideen."
Zawahri also criticised Mr Obama for what he described as turning his back on his Islamic roots.

He said: "The Muslim nation received with extreme bitterness your hypocritical ... stance towards Israel. You were born to a Muslim father, but you chose to stand with the enemies of Muslims."

Mr Obama visited Israel during his presidential campaign and vowed continued US support for the Jewish state.

In any case, when the oil will start to really run down we will see the followers of the Religion of Peace go back to eating camel sh!t and we'll never hear of them again as for the latest 600 years. Figures in the landscape.

Except for the wiser ones who are preparing for an oilless future like the United Arab Emirates, that is.

(And I'm supposed to be the Leftist here!)

Za, with all the petro dollars they've been cashing in for years, they have nothing to worry about the future.

They already control a significant share of worldwide banks, corporations and real estate, either via people or sovereign funds.

And with the ongoing credit crunch crisis, many companies will go toward Chinese or Middle East sovereign funds, because that's the only place where there's some cash at the moment.

One year ago, European countries or USA were all about restrictions and suspicion, now the tone starts to change because today, our starving world economy direly needs their cash as much as it always needed their oil, and it makes little doubt that many restrictive laws and processes will be aborted or lightened.

In the end, I'm not sure who will eat more camel shit in the years to come ;)
