Jimmy Stewart Clip

    I found an interesting audio clip of Jimmy Stewart describing his military experience to an audience at Princeton in 1990. Following the clip, there is also a PSA in which Jimmy appeared. The video includes outtakes. After the PSA, the audio tape continues.

    Nice little clip. It's rare to have an insight into such a character. A classy guy, and even somewhat humble, well at least he appeared that way. ;)

    Jimmy was a great man and Patriot. Instead of using star power to stay out of the war, he fought to be assigned in an combat air group. Thanks for the clip.

    Here is a pic of his A2 jacket in the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Museum. Below it is a couple of Jackie Coogan's A2. Most of you know him as "Uncle Fester" from the Adams Family. He served as a glider pilot with the 1st Air Commando Group in the Pacific.
