Hello! I'm a senior in highschool here in central Ohio, and have come to love the history of WWII. My dad and I have been working on a G-508 GMC CCKW 353 for the past two years, and we've even been able to restore a little M3A4 Hand Utility Cart. (Visit my site for info. and pictures on the project, just visit this link... WWII ) I really have a thing for the military vehicles of WWII, but am interested in just about anything and everything related to the subject, especially my family's involvement. My grandfather served just at the end of WWII and after joined the U.S. Constabulary forces in Europe, he also had three older brothers who served during the bulk of the war in North Africa, Iran, and Europe. I've been on many other MV forums, and hope to have a great experience here on the ww2f!

Howdy and welcome to the forum. Awesome pics. Those seem to be some rare items as I have not seen any restored such as those. Glad to have you with us. Happy posting

dgmitchell, Visit here, and take a look around for more pictures of the projects... WWII
The next and final phases of putting on new/correct wheels and tires and giving it a good paint job is the hope for 2009.
