    Hello to everyone!

First, let me introduce myself, I`m TheCableguy (this is how some friends call me), I`m 21 years old (alomst 22  ), I live in Romania. I am studying history and work for a British company.

I started getting an interest for WW2 when I was about 14 years old, from all those Discovery Channel documentaries, and after some time I began reading more and more books, watching more and more documentaries to have a clear picture about what happened.

After all those years I still have question, but time is something I have, and all answers will come.

I found this forum by pure accident, while searching something for a game I play (hearts of iron II, I`m sure some people here know it), and I could not stop reading, looks quite interesting.

Glad to be here, and hello again to everyone

Welcome...Do we have any other Romanians aboard I wander?

Forgive me asking, its not a necessary requirement by any means, but just interested, did any of your family serve in the East at all? A Romanian perspective would certainly be interesting.

Know it! I have spent many hours with HOI II and am eagerly awaiting HOI III (I believe it is due out in September of this year).

    Welcome

My grandfather (from father`s side) served on the eastern front in 1941 with the 2nd Mountain Brigade of 3rd Romanian army. He was injured during the fights on Bug River and spent almost half of year in the hospital, before returning.
Unfortunately he passed away when I was about 9 or 10 years old, so I do not know more than that, my father was always reluctant of discussing this subject.
