Bingo! Uncle Charlie makes a convincing gunny! I think he was a gunny, or maybe a 1st shirt I'm not sure now. Sorry Carl, start brushing up on the classics if you want to keep up with the big dogs you know.... Let one go Nigel (a quote that is, not a one cheek sneak or something like that)
I was so surprised to know that one that I had to rack my brains for a reply, not really knowing what films you all know inside out, but i'll give it a go with this one; "Pretty well finished now, Sir. We're just flabbing up the nuts. Could you hear the hammering up top? Hear it? There were U-boats popping up from miles around complaining about the racket!" hope it makes the grade
Heh heh, wisea$$$p :lol: Just wiat till I get my next turn, what I post will not be near as easy as the Decision before Dawn one and any clues I give will not give the movie away like what I HAD to do to let you guys solve it :lol;
Not either, but waves were definitely in the film, beneath and above (P.S. let me know if you need hints, I'm not sure how you play that on this thread so I'll take my lead from the group)
You can give hints or not, it's your choice. If it goes several posts or days without being correctly answered, then a hint or clue will keep things rolling along, and interesting as well. Carl is sort of slow with this sort of thing, so you might have to throw him a few extra bones to maintain his interest. He rode the short bus to school you know.
Thats one I never would have guessed and would feel perfectly at home with Bob's lack of movie knowledge :lol:
How about this one; “You still think it's beautiful to die for your country. The first bombardment taught us better. When it comes to dying for your country, it's better not to die at all.”
