I never understood that either. Why do some squid zeros wear black shoes and other wear brown? I always thought the "Brownshoes" were prior enlisted.
Snipes are engineers. Top siders are non-engineers. Twigits are electronics types. Deck apes are Bosun's etc. Everything in the Navy has a name. Everything in the Army has a number.....
I could make a bunch of really crude Marine jokes but, they usually aren't understood by self-propelled sandbags.....
I must admit that I have never heard of the term "self-propelled sandbag" before. Pretty neat. Do you have more?
Well, maybe not now that you mention it. It could get ugly, no doubt about it, and it hasn't been that long since you've got out of the cooler. Maybe we should let it ride....
Bullet asorpbers Sea going bell hops (that's why they have a red stripe on their pants) Marines on ships.... Sheep are too obvious.....
The small creatures always make fun of the things that frighten them the most. I'll have you know I have been cooler and warning free for several months; however, I think I am down to my "third strike"
A cousin crossed under the Equator a few times (sub-nut?), what do ya' call that? Just wanted to bump this and find out.
I was not able to cross the equator in the USN, but I did cross the "Line of Death" while in the Med, 1986!
I figured beings we had some more Marines and a couple of Sailors pop up on the forum in the last few months it would be a good idea to dust this thing off
