Hi Everybody, My name is Suzie, I'm 26 years old , Canadian, and i am a newbie to the forum. I have a great interest in WW2, especially in Field Marschall Rommel and his campaigns. So anybody out there with the same interests as I do in the desert fox... or if you just like to chat, please send me a line. It would be a pleasure to meet you. I would love to hear from war vets.. It would be such a pleasure to hear about your expierences in the battlefield... from whichever country you served. Anyway, Thanks for stopping by! (by the way where does everybody get their medals from... and how do i get me one of them?)
Hi Suzie, welcome to the forum! Glad you joined us. If you want to hear first hand how thing went on D-Day, try this thread by a Royal Engineer, Sapper... http://www.ww2f.com/honor-service-valor/13272-sword-beach-bremen-veterans-tale-sapper.html
Welcome - BTW if you like Rommel I have a good picture of him in North Africa that I acquired from the National Archives. It's posted on my website (see the link in my tagline below). Just go to the Galleries page and look it up in the Black and White World War Two Galleries.
