Found this site while doing research for a future book on my family of WW2 Vets.
I have been doing research on the 47th Armored Field Artillery where my uncle was a member and is buried at Epnial American Cem
Also doing research on the 125th Field Artillery where uncle Al served and had over 500 days is combat and was Award the Sliver Star

Have finished my research on my father who served aboard the USS Amick, DE 168

Later I will be starting research on Uncle Stansel who served in China and India , and Uncle Henry was also in the Army Air Corps in the South Pacific.
This July I will be talking to a couple of my Great Uncles who in the Battle of the Budge serving with General Patton.

I am over in Pickens County. In the town of Reform which is west of Tuscloosa about 30 miles.

Research is an on going project of mine, which I really enjoy. A few yrs ago , I helped author the Heritage and History of Pickens County. I was in charge of the Civil War section which contained over 30 pages of Civil War History of men form this county. My wife is form Montgomery we come down often to vist her family
