Its a must-have for any WW2 FPS Fanatic! It might take a bit to get used to, as it is more realistic then your regular FPS games, but getting on voice-chat with team mates makes the game amazing! (especially when crewing a tank together).

 

Is the game only multiplayer? and what about this new mod? is only multiplayer ???

 

Yes, the game is strictly multiplayer - no monthly fee or anything. In this case, you'd only be spending $5 total on the game plus the mods.

There is singleplayer, but the Bots/AI really sucks. The game was part of a contest to design a new game using the Unreal Engine. The Developers won and thus RO got born. They are even working on a 2nd RO that will be improved!

Not as many servers as games like COD but most of the ones that are active have about 40 of 50 players in the game. Some battles are truly epic and playing with friends is great! It really demonstrates the need for team work to accomplish the objective (and to resupply AT/MG teams).

Looks interesting. I installed the Darkest Hour as well. Havent looked into it yet. I have been playing SP Left$ Dead as of late.

I think so. Steam is digital so it would be world wide.
What am I saying, I know it is. It is dirt cheap on steam right now.

 

The special deal might be over (not sure). It normally costs $15...so thats like 10-Euros.

Well, I don't know, but its much cheaper for Europeans then for us Americans! Damn economy!

Anyways, Saturday Afternoon or anytime Sunday (East Coast Time) would be great time to get the 'clan' together to play the game!

I was wondering if you guys still play RO. I will be getting the game soon and would like to join your clan, but again I have to get the game first. I have been looking into this game....and wow!....exactly what I want!

I still play, mostly Darkest Hour (the free mod you can get with Red Orchestra). I am anxiously awaiting the release of Red Orchestra 2 (which has a SP campaign that allows you to play as the Germans, apparently) but have no idea when it will be released.

 

Will RO2 be graphically enhanced??

 

Yes - very, from the previews of it that I have seen. You should be able to google Red Orchestra II and find some images.
