I haven't exercised regularly in two years but I maintain a normal weight thanks to strict diet control. In college, I weight trained and ran two or three times a week. I exercised even more than that as a teen.

My parents haven't exercised regularly..since I can even remember.

I go through phases, whilst I was at uni I was running almost every day, going to the gym for an hour or two afterwards. Before Sandhurst I was running every day and spending an hour in the gym whenever I wasn't doing proper military type training. I try to do weights and either cycle or run most days now, at the very least I bash out pressups and situps before showering in the morning.

That said, I'm naturally a bit of a chunky monkey so if anything I should train more.

Me: The only exercise I get is related to house work and walking our dog.

My wife: 2+ hours at the gym 6 days per week. I am a very lucky man.

I get on the old treadmill every other day to walk/run 4 miles in an hour. On alternate days I have started to do Interval Training for 20 minutes.... Oh, and once a week or every other week I mow the lawn ...that's it!

I spend some time in the gym. Also, I do para-kart and do a lot of running and biking.

    Cheers...

Every day I go for 1 hr walks. It works for me and I lost more weight than I want to admit to. Other than the walking, I plan on starting to lift weights as soon as I can find all of the ones i bought over the years.

Hi E, and thanks ;-)) I guess it took me having that operation last year-to finally get motivated. I have not exercised so much as in the pastseveral months-since I played Soccer, Football and Baseball--too many years ago to want to admit to ;-)) I am also thinking about using the neighborhood swimming pool as well-some nice "bunnies" visit there daily ;-))
    PS-sent you a PM.
