Come on in, take a seat and learn some things, and share what you know as well. It's a great place to waste time....

There's a few others from Colorado here, not me, but others. Do you ski or snowboard?

Hey Franco! I just joined as well, I'm living in Fountain but go to CSU. There's a lot of WWII living history activity really getting into gear out here now. Are you in any reenacting groups or the MVCC by any chance?

MVCC = Military Vehicle Collectors of Colorado. Wasn't sure if you had a tank or something :) Colorado has had a pretty rough time with reenacting, and there's probably about 10-15 separate groups that used to all have some sort of beef with each other. That's starting to fade away, and now we're starting to get together more for events. I reenact 9th ID with my dad, here's our website:
    1st
There's also 10th Mountain, 327 Glider, we have a 506th in our group, but that's only one guy right now, and some MVCC guys are starting to express interest in the tactical stuff. If you want to join in, I can add you to the email roster.

Oh, and I didn't get to the airport, I was at a 4th of July parade. Saw a B-25 fly over though.

Mark, if you message me your email, I can get you on the roster and you can get all the info. Our next big thing for the 9th is in Wyoming, but I'm pretty sure the registration stuff was due a while back. After that, we have a parade and public battle in Cripple Creek in early August. This is shaping up to be a pretty big deal, and we'd love to have 2 more members. There's also a non-public tactical up in Wilkerson Pass in late August. There's a lot of stuff picking up in Colorado, and by next summer, we should be huge. Do either of you guys have enough gear to do a reenactment? If not, the "veterans" probably have enough gear to outfit an entire company, just let us know.

    Nate

I would love to gear up and reenact that would be fun but i have no WWII gear and is there any fees or anything like that? And there was no B-25 this year over here it was a B-17 and a B-24 also a 2 seater P-51. I went over to the airport and was there all day and took tons of pics and watched them take off and what cool is that B-24 is the only one flying in the world. I cant pm you for some reason so can you messege me and i can respond with my email? Is there any videos of you guys or pictures reenacting?
