Hello, my fellow WW2 enthusiasts!

Hey everyone. I'm new to the site (obviously ) and I'm really excited to be here.

I've come here from time to time just checking some threads, etc. Now I've finally decided to get an account.

I love World War 2, and everything about it. I have about 70+ books on the subject, and memorabilia including a Russian helmet, German Wehrmacht cigarette lighter, U.S. Navy 1943 leggings, medals, ribbons, U.S. Army 1st Lt. Hat, original German stamps, and more.

I hope to contribute some useful things to this forum, as I consider myself pretty knowledgeable on the subject, even though I'm sure most of you are also extremely knowledgeable.

I have just recently received my grandfather's medals and documents, he died in the Battle of the Bulge.

Hello Kato, welcome to the forum.

The "medals" you see underneath people's name are earned as you make more and more posts. The first one is earned at 20 or 25 (forget exactly) the second at 100, third at 250, fourth at 500, fifth at 1,000 and so on.
