    Hi Guys,

Please tell me how to insert an image into a post.

My image is on the desktop but I don't know what to put for the URL.

    Thanks,

    Bob Guercio

Well to attach it you should "go advanced" and then click on the paper clip next to the smiley face. Click browse to find the picture on your desktop and then click attach. The picutre wont show up until you post the reply.

But this is an attachment, not an insertion.

I'm trying to add a picture to my signature but it seems that only insertions are allowed and a URL is required.

How do you just post? Is this it? I'm looking in here to meet new friends, and to try and locate the last owner of my German WWII helmet. Anyone who can show me some ropes, please post me?

    Oh in your signature.

To get a picture in your signature, first you click browse at the bottom of the page and upload your picture. Then it should show up above the browse button. You then click in the text box where you want the picture to go and then click insert signature picture.

    two way.

One is to do what you have done, then "read" the post and expand the attachment, right click and select copy. Then "edit" your post, right click where you want the pic and paste the pic.

The other way is to upload it to a photo sharing site, such as Flickr or Photobucket, then copy and paste the pic into your post.

    Make sense?

I think you'll have to make another post before you can upload pics.
