I loved this the last time I saw it. I haven't seen it in a very long time. is there anything in it that is objectionable other than some swearing and Gore stuff? I would like a quick answer. but I want some details thats all.
It's a great film, one of my favourite scenes is the Polish pilot getting a welcoming commitee formed of irate Kent farmers as well as the "repeat please" scene. The Polish had a delightful spirit to them which I know we rather frowned on at the time, but it's still admirable. Not sure what might be objectionable about any part of it. Why do you ask?
I have some smaller brothers and I'm not scared about gore or anything. but the sexual stuff is what I don't want IIRC there is only one scene later in the season. but I don't remember how bad it was. I don't know about any just "talking" either.
Not sure what you mean there. It's a great film and reflects the spirit of the times I think, and surprisingly undated given it was made in 1969.
...I was just about to say that the 'Sexual stuff' between Susannah Yorke and Christopher Plummer was pretty tame, even for 1968.....
My thoughts exactly. I know that our (Norwegian) moral standards differ immencely from the US, but to think that "the Battle of Britain" had such sex scenes to offend the US was a bit too much.

I also mistook BoB for battle of brittain and I do object to the destruction of the Hendon hangar thus removing some very useful covered space for today's Museum (hindsight is a wonderful thing ).
