Forgotten Hope WW2 Mod for Battlefield2

Hey all,

I just discovered this wealth of a board. And being a PC WW2 gamer I wanted to add a contribution. I didn't see any postings for Battlefield 2 but I did see that some of you play BF1942.

There is an amazing mod (fan-made, free content) for both called 'Forgotten Hope'. The version for BF1942 is great but they made a version with the new game engine that has two theaters so far.. North Africa, and now Normandy.

Personally this is one of the best WW2 games I have ever played. Very high detail and they strive for realism!! Great community in the forums....

Battlefield 1942 is pretty screwed up with the weapons and equipment(The germans have MP43's in Battle Of Britain, and much much more)

But with the Forgotten Hope mod it just keeps getting better.

Been a while since i have played Forgotten Hope in BF2, but it is a good mod there too, but i like it the most in BF1942(That's my opinion).

 

I didn't like the original BF2, but now that I see this mod I think I'll reinstall it just to play this mod!

 

Realy recommend this mod is better than games you would pay £30 for.

 

I've been tooting this horn for the past year on this forum, and finally it comes around.

I've been waiting for Normandy!!!
