I just found out that Forrest Guth , an original member of Easy Company 506th Regiment 101st Airbone divison , has passed away almost a month ago..I saw the news on Menofeasycompany.com and was very saddened...This is the 2nd member of the "Band of brothers" to pass away in the past 4 months...Sorry I am late on this but I have been realy busy lately so I just realized it now..I believe their are only about 34 Original Easy Company men left alive...May he rest in peace :(

"We regret to inform that we lost one of our brothers today. Our good friend Forrest Guth past away this saturday. After he was hospitalized he and fought to stay with his family but he lost this battle and will now be reunited with he beloved wife Harriƫt who he missed deeply since she passed away in December 2007.

Forrest was a great soldier and the world knew him by his famous photos and his book. He was one of the few who brought a camera when he jumped on D-Day. He was a real Toccoa 506 paratrooper in heart and soul. We will miss this great friend.

We want to express our condolances to his children, grandchildren and other familymembers We wish them strength in these difficult times.

    May he rest in peace.

    With sympathy,
    The Men of Easy Company

The eagle will always scream for our brothers !"
