I've searched a bit and found not much usefull info.

Anyone know where I can get info on getting my dads medals replaced? He has most of his ribbons but medals were stolen years ago. I would like to get them replaced and put into a memory box.

    Thank You
    G.C.

Just an update on my progress. I got the medals in the mail the other day and put them into a shadow box. This is all just in time to give to his wife (grandma) for her 89th birthday tomorow.

Along with Lou, my congratulations on the display. Nicely done and talk about great timing! Wonderful gift for your Grandma I'd say.

I will get a picture of her opening it, maybe a little video would be better. Thanx for the compliments on it too.

Unfortunantley, since all his records were burned, there are no officers pins and his sharpshooter with grenades is missing as is his Pacific ribbon and 3rd bronze star on the European. But I will be getting all that stuff and building it as it should be. Also going to get his 9th and 42nd ID patches in there too.

Got it all finalized with all the correct attachments and ID patches... Just missing the bronze star attachment on his WW2 ribbon. And his pacific theatre medal and ribbon which he was on his way to when the war ended.
