Take a moment today to remember the magnitude of their courage, and consider that their sacrifices have made the world a much better place.

Say thank-you to a veteran, now.

My salute to all as well. I made a quick tour thru Jefferson Barracks cemetery this morning on the way to work. Such an inspiring sight.

To those veterans who served-regardless of their nationality-and to those who never got the chance to become veterans, I both thank and salute you.

already have and will throughout the night with an ending conversation with my Father in law about his time aboard a tin can and a sub tender in the Pacific.

God bless all who have, and will serve

Today I saw the flags adorn the headstones at the local cemetary. We have an awful lot to be thankful for. God bless America and all who serve her.

    flicker66,

I was at Jefferson Barracks too. Went with a good friend and placed flowers on his fathers grave. He was a ball turrent gunner on the " Role Call ". Shot down on his first mission and captured.

    God bless em al !!
